The Regent University Library faculty and staff recently completed their fourth annual Thanksgiving & Christmas service project to help those in need. On December 5, they gathered at the
Union Mission warehouse in Norfolk to sort food in preparation for distribution to needy families in Hampton Roads. The staff began by unpacking boxes and checking expiration dates. Next they used their expertise in classification and shelving to place the canned goods on the correct shelves in the warehouse. Finally, they checked boxes with food already prepared for delivery, adding missing items from the shelves.
