To all our RefWorks users:
Over the past year, the Regent University librarians have been reviewing the subscription databases in our collection. Rising subscription costs have forced us to make some difficult decisions. One decision was not to renew our subscription to RefWorks on August 1, 2011. The table below shows the low usage of this database over the past year. Normally, when we drop a subscription we just post an announcement on the database list. Since this particular database contains users’ bibliographic and citation work, we thought it best to provide some options for transferring your work to another program. Two of these programs are free and web-based.
Please go to our RefWorks Alternatives page to view citation management alternatives and instructions for transferring Reworks data to other programs. You may continue to use the program until August 1, 2011, at which time you will have the option to purchase an individual subscription at $100 per year. If you no longer use RefWorks, or if there is no data that you would like to save, then you do not need to do anything.
If you have any questions, please contact the Reference Desk and ask to speak with a librarian.
