At its annual convention in Houston, the Catholic Library Association inducted Dean Sara Baron as the organization’s 45th president. Dr. Baron, who credits the CLA with being a formative influence on her conception of library service, told the members that the Scripture guiding her two-year tenure would be Matthew 5:16 (Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven) and encouraged her fellow librarians to “let their light shine.”
The Library faculty and staff congratulate Dr. Baron as she begins this new ministry.
