Earlier this month, the Library unveiled a new catalog interface. The new interface has a streamlined, minimalist look that is intuitive and pleasing to use. However, the most significant change is not cosmetic. Library Systems Manager Mark Zillges has designed the new catalog pages to be readable on mobile devices. In addition to the catalog, many other areas of the Library website are now mobile-friendly, including our research guides, the library blog, many databases, and patron account info. For smart phone users, we have added a QR code to the Library homepage for instant access to our mobile pages.
The Library recognizes that smart phones are on the way to becoming standard equipment in academia. We are working to make as much of the Library website as possible accessible by mobile devices. Please send comments and suggestions for improvement to Mark Zillges at markzil@regent.edu.
