The Regent University Library celebrates National Library Week during the week of April 13-17. This year’s theme is Worlds Connect @ Your Library. In keeping with this theme, the Library will sponsor a series of events featuring international topics and participants. All events are free and open to all in the Regent/CBN Community. The Regent University Book Club meets to discuss Ficciones, by Jorge Luis Borges.

CAMPUS PREMIER: Regent University Library History Documentary (featuring video & oral histories)
The film will be playing on the TVs in the Library Commons throughout the day.

The Regent University Library Book Club will sponsor a screening of The Spider’s Stratagem (1970), Bernardo Bertolucci’s adaptation of “Theme of the Traitor and Hero” from Ficciones. Prof. Andrew Quicke will introduce the film and lead a discussion at the end.

MAIN EVENT: Regent Connections to Global Literature: Sharing Stories from Our Home Countries
Experience global literature as Regent University international faculty and staff read and discuss their favorite stories, poems and folktales from around the world. Refreshments will be served. Featuring:
