Library welcomes new Assistant to the Dean

My name is Sarah Wolverton, and I have the honor of serving as the Assistant to the Dean of the Library here at Regent University. In 2002, I graduated from Wheaton College in Illinois with a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Education and Ministry, with a concentration in Spiritual Formation. My favorite classes in college were Biblical Greek, Anthropology, and Youth Ministry, although there was not a class that I did not enjoy. I love to learn, which makes the Library an ideal work environment for me.

Prior to coming to Regent University, I served for almost three years as an administrative assistant to retirement plan administrators in Chesapeake. I also have held similar positions in a law firm and a financial services firm in Minneapolis before returning home to Virginia Beach in 2009 to be near family.

It was upon returning from my time in the Midwest that God led me to my treasure of a husband, and his two precious children. They are my joy. God has been so faithful.

I am also thankful that God brought me into service here at Regent. I feel so blessed to be in both a spiritually vibrant and academically rigorous environment. I look forward to serving the Lord by serving you in my position here at Regent University. You may reach me at 757-352-4185 or swolverton@regent.edu.
