In the Bible, we read that on the sixth day of Creation, before He made man, God created the animals that walk on the earth:

24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.
25
And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

—Genesis 1:24-25

Friday, June 21st is Take Your Dog to Work Day, but since pets are not permitted on the campus, animal lovers on the Library staff posted photos of their furry friends on a shared bulletin board. One staff member commented, “I know the Lord ministers to me through my dog and, I just can’t imagine my life without him.” Although the pets had to stay home, the Library staff enjoyed honoring the four-legged creatures that enrich our lives.
