To complement the fourth annual Regent University QEP Global Roundtable, the Library has put together a display, Dreaming with Open Eyes: Reflections on African Leadership, focusing on authors who examine issues related to African leadership. Authors include John W. De Gruchy, Desmond Tutu, Peter Hammond, Marjorie Froise, Albert Nolan, Edward Norman, Terence O. Ranger, Elizabeth Elbourne, and Megan Short.
Presented by the Center for Teaching and Learning, QEP roundtables are intended to be a gathering point where the Regent community focuses on a particular region of the world to expand our cultural awareness and competence.
The Dreaming with Open Eyes: Reflections on African Leadership roundtable will be held Thursday, February 9, 2012, 10:30a.m to 12:30 PM in the Communication building main theatre. The event is free and open to current students, alumni, faculty, and staff. The faculty is encouraged to integrate this event into their spring 2012 courses and bring students.
The Global Roundtable display is located in the front lobby of the Library.
