The Library has 30-day trial subscriptions to two databases from EBSCOhost:
- PsycTESTS: A searchable database of ready-to-use tests along with descriptive summaries, relevant citations, and information about their development and assessment. PsycTESTS provides structured information about tests of relevance to psychologists and professionals in related fields such as psychiatry, management, business, education, social science, neuroscience, law, medicine, and social work. The database contains more than 7,000 master test profiles and over 5,000 instances of tests or test items, the majority of which are available for immediate download and use. Coverage dates from 1910 to the present. For more information about the contents of this resource, click here.
- Academic eBooks: With nearly 83,000 titles (and growing), EBSCO’s Academic eBooks provides online books in a broad range of academic disciplines in a searchable database. New titles are added regularly to the collection. For more information about the subject coverage, click here.
To try either of these databases, go to our Database Trials page. You will need your MyRegentID and password to access. The Library’s free trial of these databases lasts until August 17, after which we will decide whether to acquire them for the collection. There are many factors that contribute to this decision, and your feedback helps. To let us know what you think of either database, simply leave a comment in the reply box below.
